Are you between 18 and 28 years old, a member of a Christian church in Germany, about to get your high school degree, about to finish your vocational training or currently studying at a university? Would you like to broaden your horizon, discover Palestine and work with us at Talitha Kumi?

In its Ecumenical Volunteer Program, our sponsor, the Berlin Mission, sends volunteers to Palestine every summer. At Talitha Kumi, you will assist guests at our guest house, offer guided tours of our property, help the girls at the Boarding School with their homework, and work with the teachers in the German classes. We also need help with our sponsorship program. Your job mainly consists of facilitating contact between our students in Palestine and their sponsors in Germany.

Pre-requisites: Good knowledge of English, basic computer skills, willingness to learn Arabic prior to your engagement at Talitha Kumi. Experience of working in education and music skills are of advantage. Volunteers at Talitha Kumi are supported through “weltwärts“. Our program is recognized as FSJ and AdiA.
