„Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.“ This sentence is written above the entrance of our school.
It is our Christian duty and motivation to open our doors to children who are physically handicapped. Unfortunately, ever increasing numbers of such challenged children grow up without an adequate education and hence without future prospects in our society. The Talitha Kumi school complex is a barrier-free environment, easily accessible by wheelchair. We would like to set an example for our students and encourage them to respect one another. In our school, students without handicaps can see that their handicapped peers are just as self confident, talented, intelligent and happy to enjoy life as they are.
